Vincenzo Burlizzi is an artist from Lecce. He moved to Florence and, after his university studies, enrolled in the International School of Specialization for Art Graphics at the Il Bisonte Foundation in Florence. He obtained the qualification of an engraver and subsequently also that of an engraver-printer. After a working phase as a laboratory assistant at the same Foundation, he supports his artistic profession with that of teacher.
He was a laboratory assistant at the summer color engraving course of Professor Kraczyna, in the province of Lucca. He also taught at the Master in Lithography and Art Printing organized by the Tuscany Region and for three years held the Engraving Course of the Internationale Dresdner Sommerakademie in Dresden, Germany. He was a lecturer for several years of the Florence Art Program of Sarah Lawrence College, New York.
In recent years he has participated in numerous graphic exhibitions both in Italy and abroad. Since 1996 he has been present in the Repertory of Italian Engravers.
